In December a group of ladies from the Community Bible Church Out-Team visited the Potter’s House for Women in Jackson, Georgia. The Potter’s House is a home for ladies who have substance abuse problems and/or dysfunctional lives. They come to the Potter’s House battered, broken and hopeless, and at the Potter’s House they receive spiritual, physical, mental and emotional makeovers. 

When the ladies from the Out-Team arrived at the Potter’s House, they were greeted with smiles and hugs! They had an opportunity to tour the home and watch a video and see the before and after pictures of the ladies at Potter’s House. 

During their time together, they got to hear about how lives are changed at the Potter’s House. A wonderful lunch had been prepared for everyone and a special time of fellowship was shared among the ladies. The Out-Team delivered  beautiful coats, gift bags with toiletry items for the residents of Potter’s House. The girls were thrilled with the gifts and were so appreciative. Some ladies received an extra surprise when they opened the box and their coat just happened to be their favorite color!

On that special day at Potter’s House, laughter was shared, tears were cried, friendships made, and love and hugs passed around. It was an awesome day to see just how God can work His miracles when you turn your life over to Him.
